1. Bone growth and aging
This section covers the biomechanical study of healthy and pathological bone, from genesis to maturity. The main function of bone is mechanical: its rigidity and strength ensure the static and dynamic equilibrium of the musculoskeletal system. Many authors have studied adult bone. However, due to the lack of biological samples, the absence of work on children's anatomy and the difficulty of obtaining multiple images using irradiation protocols, very few studies have been devoted to growing bone.
Bone growth is an anatomically and histologically known physiological process
