1.1.1 Heat transmission
Heat is transmitted by convection and radiation.
Convection is the transport of heat by the movement (of molecules) of air. It occurs in a medium that is not in temperature equilibrium. Convection heating involves heating ambient air and maintaining it at the desired temperature. The hot air produced by a generator is mixed with the ambient air, which in turn transmits its energy to the elements to be heated (walls, machines, occupants, etc.)....
