3.1.1 Cracking
The thermal barrier (EPS) is on the inside.
Heat flow :
in winter, it flows from inside to outside. EPS slows down the passage of heat, making the "exterior" concrete shell cold (temperature close to that outside);
in summer, it flows from outside to inside. EPS always slows down the passage of heat, which accumulates in the "exterior" concrete veil, resulting in additional heating (higher temperature than outside).
