The following are considered appliances:
cooking appliances: appliances used to cook foodstuffs for immediate or subsequent consumption, such as ovens, fryers, cooking pots and open fires;
reheating equipment: equipment used exclusively for reheating culinary preparations, such as reheating ovens, warming cabinets and microwave ovens.
The following are not considered to be cooking or reheating appliances:
devices for maintaining the temperature of preparations, such as hot-water tanks or infrared lamps;
microwave ovens with a power rating of 3.5 kW or less installed...
