ERP fire safety – Type W establishments — Administrations, banks, offices

Notwithstanding the provisions of article CO 52 (§ 11.4.3 of [TBA 3 002] ), the absence of staircase protection is only permitted in the following cases:

• for all staircases, if the establishment has only 3 levels, including a first floor, with special-risk areas not in direct communication with areas accessible to the public;

• for a single monumental staircase located in a hall that only serves levels opening onto this hall.
