2. Recycling white materials
All "white" road materials, i.e. untreated gravel, gravel and sand treated (with cement, hydraulic road binder, slag, etc.) and cement concrete, can be recycled in the form of aggregates.
2.1 Preparation and characterization
Recycling untreated gravel (GNT) in a plant is extremely rare, as in-place recycling is much more economical.
Gravel or sand treated with hydraulic binders is relatively uncommon. The material can be removed in one of two ways: either by fracturing, i.e. reclaiming the slabs with a loader or shovel, followed by crushing, or by milling.
