Correlations between soil properties

The correlations that can be established between the physical and mechanical parameters of soils are more or less general, depending on the parameters concerned. This article sets out to explain the approach and give a few examples.

Usually, the validity of a correlation is limited to the nature of the soil studied: the properties of sands, peats or clays do not obey the same laws, and are often described by specific parameters.
