the mass heat capacity cp of air depends on its temperature and humidity. Variation in the value of cp is negligible under the temperature and humidity conditions used in air conditioning.
We will therefore use a fixed value.
We will illustrate the thermal aspects of air treatment with the case of an industrial laboratory comprising :
walls (walls, windows, roof) facing outwards;
personnel during periods of occupancy (internal contributions of sensible and latent heat);
internal inputs of sensible heat (motor, etc.) during the occupancy period;
internal inputs of sensible and latent heat via a bain-marie that can operate on and off load;
internal inputs of sensible and latent heat via Bunsen heaters during periods of occupancy.
