INTRODUCTION

In an air conditioning system, the most delicate part to select is the air handling unit.

Articles BE 9 270 and BE 9 271 emphasize that its composition depends on the purpose of the premises (comfort, use, etc.).

The selection of an air handling unit depends not only on the heat balance, but also on its composition and the purpose of the room. For each component, the calculations or elements required to obtain a selection from the manufacturer are developed. For thermal aspects, calculations are used to determine the evolution of the air on the moist air diagram. The mechanical aspects concern the selection of components that treat the air that does not appear on the moist air diagram.
