INTRODUCTION
Technical solutions involving heat pumps or related systems are
extremely diverse, and are still evolving. However, these techniques
have already proved their worth, as evidenced by the growth in PAC
sales in recent years.
They open up a wide range of possibilities, which we have set
out to illustrate. They can be added to existing installations to
improve their performance. They can also replace existing heating
systems. But it's in new installations that they can be best integrated
to deliver the greatest savings in energy and consumption costs.
With the promotion of rational energy use, the development of
the use of renewable energies, the reduction of CO
2
emissions,
the CAP has a real future.
