Utilization of industrial by-products - Flyash - Origin, production and characteristics

The thread running through this article is based on technical references given in the regional guide for the Nord-Pas de Calais region, as well as on documentation provided by the LCPC on fly ash (see Pour en savoir plus). Data from electricity producers EDF and Snet/Endesa are also used.

We are specifically interested in fly ash. Fireplace ash and other types of ash, such as paper mill ash, will be the subject of a later dossier.
