2. Non-traditional roof tiles
For new products, in 1969 the public authorities set up a commission responsible for issuing technical opinions on the suitability for use of roof tiles in construction, particularly when their novelty or the use to which they are put does not allow standardization.
For roofs, coverings and waterproofing, a group of experts – specialised group no. 5 (GS.5) – analyses a tile, its main characteristics and its application conditions.
