have been laid since its launch in 1980.
Unvulcanized EPDM rubber is mixed with oils, carbon black, vulcanizing agents and other additives. The mixture is then calendered into large sheets (which can be dozens of meters long or wide) and vulcanized in the factory.
Once delivered, this vulcanized elastomer is highly resistant to ageing, UV, ozone, temperature shock and water, and remains flexible at low temperatures (–45°C). It is also resistant to abrasion and various chemicals.
