2. Implementation
The question of the rules for using these various membranes is approached from three different angles:
uses according to membrane type: PVC-P, TPO then EPDM ;
uses according to the type of support and load-bearing element: masonry, steel tanks, wood, etc;
fastening options: mechanical, ballasted, glued or self-adhesive.
2.1 PVC-P membranes
For PVC-P membranes, there is a "cahier des prescriptions communes de mise en œuvre" (CPT) dated April 2004 (e-cahiers du CSTB 3502)
