4. Contract performance
Although they are entitled "directives concerning the awarding of contracts", the directives adopted by the IBRD and IDA devote a number of developments to their conditions of execution.
Firstly, it states (art. 2.38) that the contract documents must clearly indicate the scope of the work to be carried out and "the functions and powers of the consulting engineer, architect or delegated project manager with regard to the supervision and monitoring of the performance of the contract".
