3. Aeraulic network
This is the important link.
In an air-conditioning system, air is the heat transfer fluid. It is therefore necessary to ensure the connections between the components (air handling unit, extraction fan, etc.) and the premises served:
distribution of treated air ;
recirculated air return ;
exhaust air ;
supply fresh air to the air handling unit.
These connections include the following elements:
fans (whether or not incorporated in the air handling unit);
distribution ducts ;
dampers or registers for control or safety ;
diffusion, transfer or recovery vents or grilles.
Each of these elements must be selected and calculated as part of an overall project, taking into account the requirements of the installation.
