3.1.1 Buried masonry

Choice of materials
Materials must be chosen to be non-gelling and of a thickness compatible with the stresses that the corresponding structures will have to withstand (vertical loads, earth pressure): it is therefore possible, under certain conditions, to use hollow elements of the same type as those used for elevations.
This possibility has been the subject of two amendments (P 10 202-1 and P 10 202-2) to DTU 20.1.
