Anchoring: Anchoring
Device for locking, in a structure, a reinforcement, a connector, or a dowel, subjected to tensile stress and shear stress.
Reinforcing bars
Steel elements embedded in concrete to give it tensile strength. All the reinforcement bars in a reinforced concrete construction element constitute the reinforcement.
Bush-hammered concrete: Roughed concrete
Concrete whose surface has undergone mechanical treatment after hardening by hammering with a pointed tool called a bush hammer. The surface appearance varies depending on the depth of the hammering and the type of bush hammer used.
