4. Specific rules for asphalt shingle roofing in mountain climates
This May 1977 DTU text is the only one with a "Mountain" chapter applicable to roofing structures, i.e. :
The mountain climate is nevertheless characterized by :
daily variations in surface temperatures ;
localized or distributed snow and ice loads;
siphoning phenomena;
reduced periods of the year during which roof maintenance can be carried out.
