Burglar-proof security – Residential and high-risk premises

This classification applies to the intrinsic resistance of the lock or bolt not mounted on a door. It applies to mortise or surface-mounted, single- or multi-bolt, fail-safe or surface-mounted building locks and bolts, which are capable of resisting unauthorized opening by destructive or non-destructive methods.

These locks and bolts carry the A2P or NF mark (A2P: assurance, prevention, protection).
