INTRODUCTION
This article deals with all the details concerning building works relating to the evacuation of burnt gases and smoke, as defined in the decree of October 22 1969 relating to flues serving dwellings, and in the modified decree of August 2 1977 (Technical and safety rules applicable to combustible gas and liquefied hydrocarbon installations located inside residential buildings or their outbuildings).

Some of this equipment is directly incorporated into the structural work (floors, walls or partitions). Others remain visible for maintenance purposes.
