2. Precast prestressed concrete girder bridges
Precast prestressed concrete girder bridges are often very economical, for spans of up to 30 m with prestressed pre-tensioning, and for spans of between 30 and 50 m with prestressed post-tensioning. The greater the number of beams to be built, the more attractive they are, as the appropriate means of installation are easily justified.
