2. Common objects
Here we present the common features and objects of the programming
database. Such objects can be used in any POU (program organization
unit: programs, functions or function blocks) written in any SFC,
FC, FBD, IL, ST or LD language.
Any expression, constant or variable used in a POU (written in
any language), must be characterized by a type. Type consistency must
be respected in graphical operations and textual instructions.
