3. Assistive devices for getting up
Beyond walking, assistive robotics has explored control laws capable of managing assistance with standing up. In general, standing up can be characterized by the interaction between the robot and the person, and by analyzing the person's movements. From a control perspective, movement characterization solutions can be considered observers.
