In the aeronautical field, aircraft are likely to be charged either by influence when passing close to a thunderstorm, or by triboelectricity: atmospheric precipitation (rain, snow, dust, sand, etc.) generates electrostatic charges on the fuselage, wings, radome and cockpit.
