HF guide structures - Introduction

In the following articles , the most commonly used structures are described down to the millimetre band:

• open structures ;

These articles deal with guide calculation techniques and discontinuities between guides. Analytical methods are presented for canonical structures. Guides with arbitrary geometries can only be analyzed by applying numerical methods. These are then used to solve Maxwell's dynamic equations. The most commonly used techniques are briefly described for their application to the case of uniform guides.
