Let's now consider the wave inside the cylinder presented in the dual polarization of the previous one, where the electric field Ez is matched by a magnetic field Hz. By duality, the angular magnetic field Hφ is also matched by the angular electric field Eφ. The calculations presented in this paragraph endeavor to show that the current configuration of fields inside the cylinder can only be achieved in the presence of an inducing magnetic field Hzi parallel to the cylinder axis. It follows from these properties that the cylinder shown in figure 6 reproduces magnetic polarization.
