5. Equivalent matrices
An equivalent system is a single system grouping several elements, which operates with the same physical quantity as input and generates the same physical quantity as output.
As each element is represented by a matrix for linear models, the matrix product resulting from their grouping provides a single equivalent matrix with the same functionalities.
