2. Amplification classes
Considering a simple RF amplification stage, different types of circuits are used, and their definitions have been listed in "classes". Some more complex setups have been invented, and have been and still are the subject of special studies. We'll take a look at analog operating classes A to C, high-efficiency classes D to F, and then at a few assemblies designed to improve efficiency, linearity or the linearity-power trade-off.
