3. RF amplification systems
We use the term "system" to refer to assemblies designed for analog amplification using high-efficiency processes that are, by definition, non-linear. These systems are developed with the dual aim of satisfying the linearity requirements of telecommunications systems with complex modulations, and guaranteeing optimum electrical efficiency. All require analog or digital signal processing of varying complexity.
They fall into three categories: complex systems, analog switching amplification and digital amplification.
