INTRODUCTION
After presenting the synoptic diagram of an active antenna and explaining the benefits of this type of antenna, the advantages it brings to a system, and a detailed description of the constitution, functions and implementation modes of the sub-assemblies in the article devoted to design principles , we present here the basic calculation methods for specifying a number of key subassemblies and for predicting and characterizing the performance of an active antenna.
