4. Guided waves
Many EMC problems involve the electromagnetic behavior of lines, or the "bizarre" guides provided by housings with openings. Branin, a disciple of Kron, developed a line model that has since been used in SPICE software and elsewhere: the Branin model. Here we show how it works and how it can help us solve our EMC problems.
