4. No-load and load ampereturns

Numerical methods are now available for plotting induction lines in the cross-section of a machine for no-load and load operation [24][25] . This method is generally very time-consuming. Here, we will be content with simple procedures using graphical summations of elementary characteristics, leading to sufficient accuracy throughout the machine's operating range. Accuracy will depend on the fineness of separation into simple elements.
