1. Principles for reducing disturbances in static converters
The reduction of disturbances emitted by a static converter is based on three principles:
reduction at source, which consists in controlling switching gradients, either through the switching mode, assistance circuits or control;
minimizing parasitic couplings by acting on the converter's physical topology or adding devices to reduce couplings;
filtering, which remains essential despite consideration of the first two points, can be optimized in terms of volume and efficiency.
