INTRODUCTION
The mathematical developments in the article "Asynchronous machines. Steady state" are naturally not valid if the supply voltages are not permanently sinusoidal and/or if the speed is not constant. So we're going to take them up again, without these two restrictions. This will enable us to tackle the problems of starting, inverter power supply and control simply. However, we will maintain the restrictive assumptions of non-saturation and sinusoidal variation of mutual inductances, which are sufficient to understand the essential phenomena.
