4. Servomotors
Servomotors are motors dedicated to servo functions and are normally designed for this purpose. Their main applications involve position control in a wide range of industrial sectors. They are necessarily associated with a servo device, and must be designed as a package including actuator, power supply and control. The focus here is on the specific aspects of small servomotors.
Servomotors are generally required to deliver a sufficiently high level of torque in the shortest possible time, in order to achieve very high dynamics.
