The first electric machine to be covered is an axially ventilated asynchronous motor. These motors cover a wide range of motor structures and applications. The one chosen for this dossier is based on conventional technology (see dossier [ figure 3], a medium-sized, caged rotor motor capable of delivering 132 kW of mechanical power at a speed close to 1,500 rpm ^–1 . Its performance specifications comply with international standards
