The publication of the 2015 edition of standard NF C 13-100 integrating the former standards NF C 13-101, 13-102 and 13-103 brings a new approach to premises or locations intended to house high-voltage equipment.

Three cases are now envisaged: prefabricated substations, non-prefabricated substations made up of functional units under a casing, and simplified pole-mounted substations.

Delivery substations consisting of "open" equipment installed in screened cells have disappeared from NF C 13-100, which is logical since this practice has been out of use since 1970. However, they are still used for HVB, and standard NF C 13-200 provides all the information you need to install them.
