7. Action on industrial buildings
The industrial building, the envelope in which the industrial production activity takes place, has rarely been studied, since in most branches of industry, the highest energy consumption is due to the production line. Added to this is the profitability of the actions to be taken. In the industrial sector, the payback period is generally no more than 5 years, and it's not uncommon for companies to limit it to 1 year. The profitability of insulating a facade or roof, for example, rarely falls within these limits.
