It's easier to criticize than to build, and there are many prejudices about passive building. Here are just a few of them.
The construction technique is imposed (false)
Passive buildings are expensive. In the short term, it is, but the extra cost is quickly amortized through savings on energy bills.
It's not aesthetic (subjective criterion).
Windows can't be opened (false).
