) is a special (thermodynamic) system capable of transferring energy from one system to another (tanks or any other system) by changing the type of energy. This energy conversion must be able to continue (at least theoretically) through cyclic operation of the device. A converter is considered perfect when it performs reversible cycles, and heat exchanges with reservoirs are also reversible.
