Heat recovery

Recovered or waste heat refers to heat production derived from a production site that is not the primary purpose of the site, and which was therefore not necessarily recovered. The aim is to capture and then transport this heat, which would otherwise be lost, to facilitate its exploitation in the form of thermal energy.

Final energy

This is the quantity of energy measured at the consumer's meter (electricity meter, gas meter, pump meter, etc.).

Primary energy

This is the amount of energy that had to be taken from nature, transformed into a form usable by the consumer and transported to him.
