Setting up an energy metering plan for an industrial company

The counting plan is therefore mainly composed of the following elements.

• measurements: these come from meters measuring energy consumption, sensors measuring the level of influencing factors such as temperature, water or air flow, mass or volume of quantities produced, etc.

• Recovery of unmeasured or non-measurable data: energy consumption from energy supplier statements, production volume data, production schedules, etc. These unmeasured data are generally accessible on a monthly basis and collected manually. They are indispensable or unavoidable for feeding the metering plan and calculating the IPE.
