4. Leveraging low-carbon electricity

French electricity has a carbon content of 40 to 150 gCO 2 /kWh (ADEME, depending on the period and current energy mix), compared to 180 to 370 gCO 2 /kWh for fossil fuels. Its use for industrial heat production is therefore a major driver of decarbonization.
