Selecting recovery technologies requires knowledge of the following parameters:
temperature of heat sources (hot and cold sources) ;
thermal power ;
fluids.

3.1 High-temperature heat pump
Function: to capture thermal energy (waste heat) from the cold source and convert this energy into a compression or sorption cycle, enabling the hot source to be reheated.
Limit of use conditions: cold source <80°C - hot source <130°C.
