6. Mistakes to avoid
Carrying out exposure measurements requires organization and planning, which must be discussed between the accredited body and the HSE manager. At the very least, the HSE manager must consult the production manager to check that the chemical will indeed be handled, and under the usual conditions to be defined, on the days of the intervention.
The choice of measurement days must be studied in advance. Carrying out measurements when the chemical is not being handled causes unnecessary expense.
