4. What is a human MMR?
This is an action or series of actions carried out by one or more operators. The operator may have a preventive or mitigating function. These MMRs correspond to actions not relayed by technical safety elements.
Example of a human MMR for prevention: checking that a transfer arm is correctly connected before starting a transfer phase.
Example of a human mitigation MMR: isolation of a leak by closing a manual valve following visual detection by an operator during a patrol.
