How to optimize the measurement of chemical exposure

The strategy must be discussed by the Health, Safety and Working Conditions Committee (CHSCT). As specified at circulaire du 13 avril 2010, a technical control of VLEP is made up of four services:

• determining the sampling strategy ;

• sampling ;

• sample analysis ;

• diagnosis of whether the occupational exposure limit value has been met or exceeded.

From now on, the accredited organization is fully responsible for the sampling strategy.

Two separate measurement campaigns will be carried out:

• an initial assessment ;

• an annual periodic inspection.
