6. What are the filling requirements?
Once the "ESPT" or "GRV" has been chosen, care must be taken to ensure that the maximum filling rate is respected, so as to exclude any rupture, leakage of contents or permanent deformation of the "ESPT" or "GRV" due to the expansion of the material under the effect of temperature variations.
For "IBCs", the maximum rate to be respected can be a specific rate given by the packing instruction, or a general standard rate, the calculation formula for which is given in § 4.1.1.4 of the ADR.
