Taking human action into account in risk control measures

When a human action is valued in an MMR, it is imperative to :

• clearly define the nature of the tasks to be carried out ;

• limit the number of tasks to be carried out in relation to the time available to complete them;

• ensure that operators know exactly what their role will be in the event of an accident;

• ensure that the operator is properly trained to act in prevention or mitigation of situations for which he or she is valued as an MMR (in the case of a totally human MMR) or part of an MMR (in the case of a SAMS).
